Rücklagenplaner

Terms of use

This is a translation. The binding version is the German one; in case of doubt, the German text prevails.

Scope

These terms apply to the use of the app “Rücklagenplaner” (the “app”) by Stefan Hölting (the “developer”). Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition, in its respective current version.

Right of use

By downloading the app you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use it on the devices linked to your Apple Account, for your own purposes. Modification, decompilation or redistribution is permitted only within the limits allowed by law.

Free version and Rücklagenplaner Pro

The app can be used free of charge. Individual features can be unlocked through an in-app purchase. The contracting party for the purchase is Apple; the terms of the App Store apply. You manage prices, billing, renewal and cancellation of subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

A subscription renews automatically for the period chosen unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

No financial, tax or legal advice

The app is a tool for your own planning. It provides no investment, tax or legal advice, no recommendation on financial products and no forecast. All results are based exclusively on the figures you enter yourself. You make your decisions on your own responsibility.

Availability and backups

The developer endeavours to provide a fault-free service but does not owe uninterrupted availability. You are responsible for backing up your data yourself; use the iOS backup, iCloud syncing or the app's data export for that.

Liability

The developer is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence the developer is liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely, and limited to the foreseeable damage typical of such a contract. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

Changes

The developer may adapt these terms where this is necessary for legal or technical reasons and does not place you at an unreasonable disadvantage.

Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
