Rücklagenplaner

The money in your account is rarely all yours to spend.

A vacation, the next car repair, dental work, a new laptop: part of your balance is long since spoken for. Rücklagenplaner subtracts these reserves from your balance and shows what is really left for day-to-day spending.

An example

4,000 € in the account. 800 € for a vacation, 600 € for car repairs, 1,000 € for health costs, 1,200 € for a new laptop. Available: 400 €.

That figure sits next to your balance and the allocated total the moment you open the app, together with a bar for the share already spoken for. If the balance drops to 3,400 €, Rücklagenplaner puts a number on the shortfall of 200 € – and shows which reserves are still funded.

What the app does

Reserves instead of sub-accounts

As many entries as you like, each with a name, an amount, an icon, a restrained color and a priority – without your bank charging for a sub-account.

A clear warning

When the balance is no longer enough, the shortfall is spelled out – not by color alone, but with its own icon and in plain words. Unambiguous without color vision too.

Funding by priority

When money is tight the app shows, entry by entry, whether it is fully, partly or no longer funded. You can change the order by dragging at any time.

Targets and due dates

Each reserve can optionally carry a target amount with a date. The app works out the monthly amount needed.

Fixed monthly costs

Rent, electricity, insurance, memberships: amounts that leave your account every month sit in a section of their own and are covered before any reserve. They stay allocated permanently – no transactions, no categories, nothing to tick off each month.

A history, not a snapshot

Every balance update is recorded. That makes it visible how your balance and your available cash have developed over the months.

Several accounts

Keep checking, savings and cash apart and look at them together – or leave individual accounts out of the calculation.

And besides

What the app does not do

Your data stays with you

Everything is stored on the device. If you want to, you can sync through the private iCloud of your own Apple Account. The developer has no access to it and runs no server.

That is why the App Store lists the app under “App Privacy” as “Data Not Collected” – not as a promise in body text, but as an entry the App Store itself displays.

Availability

Rücklagenplaner is available for iPhone from iOS 18 on the App Store. One account and three reserves can be used free of charge. Several accounts, unlimited reserves, the history and the CSV export belong to Rücklagenplaner Pro: from 0.99 € a month, 9.99 € a year or 14.99 € once, without a subscription.

iCloud syncing stays free for everyone. Anyone who would like to support the work beyond that can buy a coffee inside the app – voluntarily, and without unlocking any feature by doing so.

Prices for the German App Store; in other countries Apple shows the converted amounts.
